Young LGBT people comprise up to 24% of the youth homeless population in Britain, with many saying the problem is directly related to their sexuality. Yet services are being cut...
The Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT) are the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity; focused on prevention and early action they provide: safe homes, mentoring, training, advocacy and support to young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment after coming out to their parents, care givers and peers.
So why I am I telling you this?
With the help of the pros at Pride Boxing and 40 other participants, I will be getting absolutely shredded so on October 10th I can step into a ring and fight somebody. The fight will consist of 3 2-minute rounds with a 1-minute break in-between each round. I will be wearing full headgear to avoid the ol egg getting scrambled and my opponent and I will be wearing 16-ounce gloves. Is there a fair bit of risk of injury? Yes! But I have been and will be up until fight night, training with the best of the best to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing when I get into the ring.
Here's how you can help;
NUMBER ONE!

I'm looking to raise £300 (not including ticket sales) but I may bump that number up if things go really well.
NUMBER TWO!
You can come to the fight! You can actually come along and cheer me on from the stands. Fight night is October 10th at Clapham Grand and tickets cost £25 each. If you'd like to purchase a ticket, please email me at info@stefanhanegraafphotography or DM me on Instagram @stefan.g.hanegraaf.
See you there!
